Inclusion Matters is formed out of a shared passion for the importance of building better communities through the inclusion of all members – in particular those with a disability. We share a belief that people with a disability have a valued place in their community, have the capacity to contribute to the development of their community, and have the right to share full citizenship which respects individual rights and responsibilities in all aspects of daily life. Furthermore, we believe that it is possible to achieve our vision of more communities realising the power and the potential of inclusion.
While as a consultancy group our philosophical base and working styles are similar, the strength of Inclusion Matters lies also in our differences. Between us we have a breadth of experiences and strengths in a range of areas including:
- Research
- Education, training and curriculum development
- Resource development
- Emergency management
- Influencing inclusive policy and legislation
- Monitoring and evaluation
With over ‘80’ years of combined experience working within the disability sector, in over ‘12’ countries across Asia, the Pacific and Africa, we are well placed to provide a range of support roles in the advancement of inclusion for people of all abilities in their communities.
